When my brother died I was in school. I never got to say some things that I had been waiting all day to tell him. I just didn’t want to text him this stuff because I THOUGHT that I would just see him again after school. Weirdly enough I remember a lot of the things I wanted to say to him that day and unfortunately never got the chance to tell him before. I keep thinking about these unsaid things I’ll never know the answers to.
1. After my first class I was deciding whether to stay and buy food or to go home and then return for my next class. I decided to stay and I went to Playa Bowl—while I was ordering I wanted to text him, “I’m getting acai. u want some?” Then I thought, this guy always wants to eat so I’ll just get him one. He never got to eat it.
2. There were limited computers in the classroom, so I realized that I was going to have to bring my own. My laptop had just gotten damaged a couple of weeks prior so I wanted to ask him “I need a computer for school can I use urs? or can u delete some stuff so I can use it cuz I need to download something too please”.
3. Before I left for school I saw that he was in a bad mood, but I didn’t want to say something because I knew that it would make him mad. The entire time I was in school I couldn’t stop thinking about how he was annoyed and I kept thinking of things that either I did or someone else did to make him mad. I knew that I wanted to ask him once I got home, “Why were u so mad this morning?”. Instead I was welcomed with 3 police cars and 2 ambulances, and no brother.
