Introduction
Disclaimer: I am not a professional! Just a girl who misses her big brother and struggling to accept it 🙁
Hi! My name is Lia and I lost my big brother early 2026. I have since then struggled to move on and accept it. I was “lucky” enough to have never experienced a pain so intense until this year. I decided to create this website as a way to track my journey and hopefully help some with such a heartbreaking experience. I am catholic and I am Mexican so a lot of my experiences will be related to that culture/life.
Why did I make this website?
I originally made this website so I could express my feelings without feeling so trapped in my head. Its been a rough couple of months and the longer I hold it in the more I feel my brain collapsing. Everyday feels like a struggle and it’s a struggle I don’t want to deal with. I think about all the bad choices that can make me feel so much better my life so much easier.
How will this website help others?
The truth is I don’t know but I wish I had people I could speak to about it this without making them feel sad or awkward about my feelings. I hate expressing myself to my family because I constantly feel like they are invalidating my feelings. This makes it difficult to open up about everything has been attacking me all at one. There might be things that I do on my journey that can possibly help some.
Posts
These posts will basically be my “diary” entries. I will be expressing my feelings and my experiences with things like faith, music, nostalgia, holidays/special occasions, and so many more things through these posts.
All posts will be saved in “Journal”!

Forced to Learn About Funerals
